STEWARDSHIP EDUCATION

Annual Training  

SPSS places a great emphasis on educating Site Stewards to maintain the highest possible standards for the work we do.  Volunteers are required to attend annual trainings at which time they are apprised of any SPSS process or procedural requirements.  They are trained on new technologies to be used in the field, apprised of new sites to be monitored and an overview of activities planned for the summer, and guest speakers present on a variety of topics.

Workshops & Specialized Trainings  

Throughout the year volunteers are notified of extracurricular educational and enrichment opportunities available to the (i.e., History-Colorado webcasts, speaking events, etc.)
